So every season Pantone, a name known worldwide as the standard language for color communication from designer to manufacturer to retailer to customer, gives us new colors to fall in love with. If you didn’t already know the colors of the year 2016 are rose quartz which is the classic soft blush / baby pink and serenity which is light blue.
Pantone chose two colors this year and described the “inherent balance” of the pair saying, rose quartz is a persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure. Serenity is weightless and airy, like the expanse of the blue sky above us, bringing feelings of respite and relaxation even in turbulent times. Composed yet weightless, rose quartz is grounded while serenity is ethereal. Persuasive yet relaxed, rose quartz beckons movement while serenity invites stillness.
As far back as I can remember, i’ve always loved blush pink since I was a kid till this very moment. So I thought of experimenting with it and to create this look I decided to wear this STUNNING embroidered top in the exact same shade as rose quartz from Bershka. It was simply perfect and so soothing to the eyes.
Moving on, I paired the top with a pair of white palazzo pants from Zara to create an easy, fuss-free look! I further enhanced my outfit with this white watch from Mont Blanc that added a finishing touch to my outfit. Along with it to balance the whole look I wore this beautiful nude pair of heels from Charles and Keith which i’m in love with, and I carried a bag which is also in the color of Rose Quartz, from Dior, which just speaks luxury, and made the whole outfit look polished.
Founded in 1947, the house of Christian Dior is not only a modern fashion giant but posses an incredibly rich history and timeless designs. From the very beginning of its days in Paris to its gradual and steady expansion globally, this label has never stopped whisking people away with its innovative approach to fashion and magical collections. Today, when people hear the name Dior they automatically think luxury, haute couture, and desire. The story of the house is a story that must be told.
Lastly, to accessorize a little more, I wore a pair of silver mirror lens sunglasses from Cupcakes and Closet and a necklace which had beautiful stones and a touch of pink and grey from Style Fiesta!
Have a look! Happy viewing 🙂
Exciting new posts coming soon! And I would love feedback!
Until next time,
