It’s my favorite time of the year (already!) and time to doll up in light layers which is perfect for Mumbai’s weather. Wish I could dress up in faux fur coats, but no, i’m not complaining 🙂

Though Mumbai doesn’t experience the winter chill, I dont find a reason why one should shirk away from wearing and trying on at least a few fashionable winter trends that have set the fashion meters soaring.

So, for this look I wanted to experiment with the color of the year 2015, marsala, an earthy red wine, which functions almost like a neutral. Mines a little brighter, and i’ve fallen in love with this rich, radiant shade! It’s so refreshing and I loved styling it.

I chose to team up this gorgeous marsala, full-sleeve fringe tee that has intricate and beautiful detailing with my leather-patched black pants which are from Zara. Along with this I wore my suede marsala heels which are from Zara as well and it balanced the entire look perfectly.

To add on to the look, and break away from minimal dressing, I decided that the one way, and the only secret to stay both chic and warm this season is by layering. So, I threw on a black cape jacket with sequins on it which is from Armani Exchange and this simply gave my look a sharp winter twist.

Created in 1991, Armani Exchange (often A|X) is a subsidiary brand of Giorgio Armani, aimed at a new generation of fashion consumers offering individual style through an accessible collection for men and women.  Giorgio Armani interprets his sensual and unique style to create a collection for the generation of the young, urban and sexy. This line defines a new dress code with a collection that takes its cue from all elements of metropolitan lifestyle and music culture.

I personally love the layering trend, and love capes as it takes casual style to the next level, is so versatile, the look reads relaxed, and is definitely the superhero of every wardrobe.

To further enhance this look, I carried a Ferragamo laser-cut, leather bag, which just speaks luxury. It has a slight gold touch to it and I love every little detailing on it. This bag is light, so chic, looks great and its color went perfectly with the outfit, which was all about winter hues.

The history of the Salvatore Ferragamo group, is quite an eventful one, which has characterized its growth and development, and enabled it to become one of the key players in the international luxury market. Today, their unique and exclusive designs help distinguish their products which is created by combining style, creativity and innovation with the quality and craftsmanship typical of Italian made goods.

Lastly, to accessorize a little more, I wore a necklace which had beautiful stones and a touch of pink and grey and a pair of black matte sunnies from Style Fiesta.

Have a look! Happy viewing 🙂

Exciting new posts coming soon! And I would love feedback!

Until next time,
