TAJ MAHAL PALACE MUMBAI
Photography and Editing: Done by me
So my house was under construction for a while and because of that I stayed at the Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai in June 2017 for 2 days (as you must have known from my Instagram series – #TheGlitterCrumbTravelDiaries) with my parents and both my sisters. This short getaway was perfect for me, as I simply did nothing and just relaxed, sat by the pool, shopped and ate some of the BEST food and fell in love with every little thing that came my way while I explored the hotel, it’s art gallery and more at the heritage walk (a historic walk they take you for which trust me you shouldn’t miss!)
Built in 1903, 21 years before the Gateway of India, this luxury hotel has been the residence of choice for maharajas, dignitaries and other famous personalities for over a century. The history of Mumbai and The Taj Mahal Palace, the city’s first harbour landmark, are dramatically intertwined and as you walk through this stunning hotel you’ll see that every pillar tells a story.
This iconic sea-facing landmark in Colaba, South Mumbai offers you a splendid view of the Arabian Sea and Gateway of India, alongside refined century-old hospitality, it personifies the essence of Mumbai and it’s simply just beautiful.
Quintessentially Indian in its fabric, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces is recognized all over the world for delivering a unique flavour of hospitality that offers world-class refinement while remaining deeply rooted in its local heritage. With over 100 hotels in 62 locations, Taj offers its guests refined luxury of heritage, effortlessly efficient service and amenities and a local experience with assurance of quality in a refreshingly modern way to create unique experiences and lifelong memories ❤
To quickly round this up, I enjoyed every moment I spent here, I definitely think you will too and so here are a few photographs that I took for you to see!
Have a look! Happy viewing 🙂
Exciting new posts coming soon! And I would love feedback!
Until next time,
